Carrick Moon

Carrick Moon is a coalition-builder and organizer, and an associate at the nonpartisan nonprofit Protect Democracy. He is a graduate of Indiana University, where he co-founded the Queer Student Union, served as its inaugural president, and researched liberatory pedagogy. He is especially interested in the facilitation of democratic structure, practice, and common virtue, and how they can catalyze transformative individual and shared impact. A born and raised Kentuckian, Carrick is of course happy to field any questions about horse racing (with the disclaimer that he is 2 for 19 on the Kentucky Derby).
