Cara Ellis

Cara Ellis (she/her) is an Appalachian organizer and activist. She currently serves as President of Pikeville Pride, a local LGBTQ+ non-profit dedicated to strengthening visibility and inclusion of LGBTQ+ in eastern Kentucky. With extensive experience in political campaigns and local/statewide policy work, Cara serves her rural community in multiple capacities, striving to work across ideological differences to find common ground and build strong interpersonal relationships with a shared vision that benefits all.
